CPS and failure to prosecute

by Father of two abducted / Posted 18/04/2012 / Updated 23/04/2012

Just awaiting the decision from the CPS on issuing a EAW for my ex-wife, its now been 34 days since she abducted my children to the EU. I am interested in gathering stories on this issue since it gives a clear message to potential abductors, go ahead we wont do anything. Also and very importantly as soon as they decide not to prosecute the abductor can re-enter the country and wont face any consequences. I think this issue needs to be brought to the attention of the public in light of all the press parental child abductions is getting at the moment such as last year was up 700% on the year before and speaking to re-unite staff (who are getting me a figure) its already massively up this year on last again. No deterrent = higher abductions.
