UK Daughter age 9 residency in uk, plan an agreed visit to Belgian father with- any possible problem

I have residency of my 9 year old daughter in the uk. After 9 years belgian father would like contact. He plans to visit UK then would like me to take daughter to Belgium to visit grandparents etc. If there were problems what would they be and is there an age in Belgium when children can speak for themselves?
