possible abduction

My daughter is married to and now seperated from a man who was born in North Africa. He is now threatening to take the children (3, 5, 15) there. I now have the passports and birth certs (in case he tries to get duplicate passports). As far as we know he has taken no actual action to take the children and it may just be bluster. But, we are worried that he will just put them in a car and go. Is there any other action we can take now?

Hi I am going through the same thing. Get a lawyer and get a Prohibited steps order. This means the children can not leave the country with out your daughters consent. All the best

He will most likely get the children passports from his country of origin (from the relevant consulate in the UK) - this is the most likely means of exit he will take if he decides to abduct the children
