My wife and I split up 14 years ago when we were living in Zimbabwe, she left Zimbabwe with my daughter at the age of 18months to go to SA,she did not get my permission to leave Zimbabwe with my child.I only found out that she had gone to SA after three months because she kept moving home in order to keep my child away from me.She went a step further in SA by changing my childs identification so that I wouldn´t be able to find them,I managed to find them 7 years ago,and have been in touch with my child since then,an application for change of name was put into the Cape Town Home Office to rectify the mothers mistakes but the whole process has been very long and rather stressfull, any words of advice on how to get all of this sorted because my child is really looking forward to us spending Christmas together.
