Family Law Conference

March saw Miller du Toit Cloete Inc´s annual family law conference take place in Cape Town, South Africa.

The conference, which is held in partnership with the law faculty of the University of the Western Cape, attracts a wide range of delegates including lawyers, judges, academics and NGOs. Denise Carter, Director of reunite, was delighted to be able to attend this important conference and address delegates about reunite´s mediation service. Following the conference Denise met with delegates from a mediation service to explore how we can develop a working partnership.

We are pleased to say that reunite will continue to work closely with our colleagues in South Africa in developing a mediation service that will be of real benefit to parents dealing with cases of child abduction and contact issues between the UK and South Africa.
