Legal Services Commission will not appeal Law Society Judicial Review
The High Court recently allowed the Law Society´s application for judicial review of the new tendering process for family law legal aid contracts, which saw the number of practices providing family law services reduced from 2,400 to 1,300.
The Legal Services Commission have decided that they will not appeal against the judgment, and have stated that their priority now is to focus on the delivery of future public services.
