reunite welcomes two new trustees onto the Board
We are delighted to welcome Angela Lake-Carroll and Mehvish Chaudhry onto the Board. They bring a wealth of experience and support to reunite and we look forward to working with them in the future.
Angela Lake-Carroll has an enduring interest in the needs of separating families, their children and those with special needs. She has been a contributor to Government policy in regard to separated families and those involved in public law proceedings. She is also a presenter of Resolution ´Parenting After Parting´ Workshops and is a consultant to the pilot project.
She is an accredited family mediator and professional practice consultant, member of Resolution, the Family Mediators Association and a collaborative practitioner. She writes and provides national and international training for family and collaborative lawyers and for family mediators and family consultants. She also works as a family consultant with individuals, parents and families dealing with relationship breakdown or family transitions generally.
Mehvish Chaudhry is a barrister at Renaissance Chambers practicing in all areas of family law and immigration and has a particular interest in cases which involve a crossover between the two areas.
Mehvish is experienced in acting in a wide range of private law proceedings including cases involving: allegations of domestic violence, specific issues orders and applications for leave to remove from the jurisdiction. She has also been instructed in cases involving abductions to Hague and non-Hague Convention countries.
Angela and Mehvish are very much valued and welcome additions to our Board of Trustees in helping to guide the direction and future of the organisation.
