Volunteering Opportunities

Would you like to give your time to help and support others, whilst learning new skills? We currently have volunteer opportunities, based at our Leicester city centre office, for people who want a challenging and varied role, that provides the satisfaction of knowing your time and effort has been well spent.
Administration Support Volunteer
Are you able to give a few hours of your time each week to assist the reunite administration department? Maybe you’re thinking of returning to work and would like to brush up on your administration skills?
We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team to help us out with photocopying, data inputting, reception cover, and sending out mail shots.
Administration skills, including a good telephone manner and computer skills, are desirable but not essential.
For further details please contact Sally Merrigan on 0116 2555 345.
Advice Line Volunteer
Are you comfortable speaking with people on the phone? Are you patient, non judgemental, and have an understanding manner? Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference to someone’s life?
We are looking for volunteers to join our advice line team, helping parents and families who have been affected by international parental child abduction. You will be assisting parents, families and other organisations, by providing practical advice, information and support.
Good typing skills, and experience of working on the telephone are desirable. Full training will be given, and experienced advice line workers are on hand to support volunteers.

These opportunities are available at our city centre office, close to Leicester train station. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm. Local travel expenses will be covered.
