Malta Conference
The third Malta Judicial Conference on Cross-Frontier Family Law Issues was held in March hosted by the Government of Malta in collaboration with the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
It was a great privilege for reunite to be invited to attend this important event, which follows on from the first and second conferences held in 2004 and 2007. The conference focused on a number of important issues including; the development of closer co-operation among judiciaries; measures to prevent abduction or abuse of visiting rights; practical arrangements to facilitate transfrontier visits; and cross-border mediation in family matters.
