Wimbledon Common Sponsored Walk
Saturday 25th September
The reunite annual sponsored walk at Wimbledon Common, London, on Saturday 25th September was a great success. It brought together parents, families, friends and supporters of reunite, and we thank everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable day.
We were raising money in support of the charity and our specialist advice line service so that we can continue to offer advice, information and support to parents, family members and guardians, and so far have had a wonderful response.

The Friday before the walk was a particularly grey and miserable day, which left us worried that the elusive Wimbledon Wombles wouldn´t put in an appearance for our walk on the Saturday. However, once again - just as at our walk in Leicester earlier in the month - the weather was very kind to us, providing lots of blue sky and sunshine for our Womble hunters.
Everyone successfully completed the course, and there were sweet treats at the end for all those who spotted a Womble or two.
